Meet Ike

Hello! My name is Isaac “Ike” Warner, and I hope to earn your support once again representing Hillcrest as a member of the Uptown Community Planning Group.

My husband and I are proud to call Hillcrest home and it has been an honor to serve you on the board. I continue to be committed to advocating for the interests and concerns of our vibrant and diverse community.

As a renter in Hillcrest, I understand firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with renting in our neighborhood. I believe in fostering a strong sense of community where renters feel valued and empowered to participate in the decision-making processes that directly impact their lives.

If re-elected, I will prioritize truly affordable housing initiatives to ensure that all residents, regardless of income, have access to safe and stable housing options. I will work on tangible solutions to address critical issues like expanding our transportation options, increasing our green spaces, and strengthening protections for our LGBTQ+ residents and businesses through equitable development & sustainable urban planning practices.

By amplifying the voices of renters and collaborating with homeowners, businesses, and other stakeholders, I am confident that we can create a more inclusive and equitable Hillcrest for everyone.
